Student Council At JHE

Hayes Student Council is a service organization of elected students. Two students are elected from each fourth and fifth grade homeroom, and each student must maintain the criteria of good citizenship and a strong work ethic. The students learn that leadership is service, and they must be willing participants in the activities. Some of the activities include:

• Annual Food Drive
• Assisting with Red Ribbon Week
• Assisting with the Veterans’ Day assembly
• Helping teachers with special projects
• Teacher appreciation week activities
